Interpretation From John Wayne
On the first page, I believe Max want to convey the idea of ironic. Because the woman in the picture is laughing at the rooster, but she herself is acting like a rooster. On the second page, I believe the woman from the first picture passes away. The rooster who the woman was laughing at, comes to her corpse. On the third page, the rooster continues following her to her grave. On the fourth page, the rooster takes off the cloth from the woman corpse. On the fifth page, the rooster finds out a woman is dead and he seems happy about it. On the sixth page, a woman's husband is crazy, and the rooster is peeking. On the seventh page, a rooster is trying to sell his wooden stick, but the customer women are laughing at him. On the eighth page, the rooster who was selling wooden stick now trying to kill the women who were laughing at her.
